Restos du Cœur : the Macif group is launching a challenge on Diffuz

Present alongside the Restos du Cœur since their creation in 1985 by the comedian Coluche, the Macif group has decided to become even more involved today with the association of iconic. The mutual insurance group has become the partner of the edition 2018 of the great national collection. Spotlight.


The Macif wants to collect 8 000 tonnes of food

In 1985, the Macif accompanied already Eating The Heart of ensuring the premises of the association, as well as its workshops, its sites of insertion, its fleet of motor vehicles, distribution centres, its cold, its shelters and its 71,000 volunteers.

Since 2015, the employees and delegates of the Macif group have decided to act on their turn in giving their time and becoming a volunteer for one day at the time of the National Collection of the Restos du Cœur.

In 2018, the Macif goes a step further by becoming the partner of the new edition of this great national event through the platform of solidarity Diffuz. Objective : collection of 8 000 tonnes of food, which is equivalent to 8 million additional meals to distribute.


The Macif group is launching a call to action

Chairman of the Macif group, Alain Montarant considers that, with Diffuz, the platform of challenges in solidarity, » solidarity is within the reach of all ! «.

In the framework of the new National Collection of Restos du Cœur, which will take place on 9 and 10 march 2018, the mutual insurance group therefore calls on employees, delegates and citizens to contribute to the challenges Diffuz. During these two days, the association will host the volunteers for a few hours or the entire day in order to collect primarily preserved meat, fish and vegetables, hygiene products and baby products.

Any person who is registered on Diffuz will benefit from support offered by the local branch of the association Les Restos du Cœur in order to determine its opening hours and the store where will its mission.
